Our Mission + Values

Statement of Faith

Bible.

We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, were written by humans under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is inspired by God, without error, and the supreme and final authority on all matters of faith and morality.

John 1:1-5; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21

God.

We believe in a Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity is equal in power and authority yet serve a different role and purpose. God is eternal and created the heavens and the earth. He created humanity in His image with the purpose of enjoying a relationship with us. Humans chose to break that relationship by sinning. We believe that God the Father is holy, loving, and desires intimacy with His creation (humanity) above all else. We believe that Jesus Christ was fully God and fully human. He never sinned and therefore was able to be the perfect sacrifice for humanity’s sin which was the fulfillment required by our holy God in order to restore our relationship with Him. We believe that Jesus died, rose from the dead, and ascended to Heaven where He is now preparing a place for those that believe in Him. Salvation comes through Jesus alone. We believe that the Holy Spirit is given as a gift to believers after they put their faith in Jesus Christ. He guides us, comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, gently corrects and redirects us, and ultimately transforms us from the inside out - making us more like Jesus day by day.

Genesis 1:1; Revelation 1:8; Romans 3:21-26; John 10:30; John 16:7-14; Hebrews 1:3

Humanity.

We believe that every person is created in the image of God and has worth, value, and purpose. We also believe every person has sinned and falls short of the holiness and perfection of God therefore we cannot be with God on our own accord. Because of Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on the cross - taking the penalty for humanity’s sin - every person has the opportunity to put their faith in Jesus as their Savior and accept His gift of salvation. Salvation is believing that Jesus took our punishment for sin and through His sacrifice, we are made holy and perfect and able to be restored in relationship with our perfect God. We believe that every person will exist eternally either with God (those that accept this gift of salvation) or apart from God (those that do not accept this gift of salvation).

John 3:3; John 3:16; Romans 5:1-2; Romans 5:12-21; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8

Earth to Eternity.

We believe that those who put their faith in Jesus Christ form a body of believers called the Church and the role of the Church on earth is to tell others about Jesus. God’s number one plan for reaching the lost (those that have not accepted the free gift of salvation) is the Church. The local church (the building) offers the opportunity for the Church (the people) to gather, worship, and invite others to learn more about God. God calls and equips the Church (His people) to make disciples which begins with reaching the people right within their community. We believe that the Holy Spirit partners with us and gives us the gift and ability to reach others for Christ. We also believe that being connected with a group of believers that meets regularly (within the local church) is crucial to growing in your relationship with God.

We believe that Jesus will return to earth one day and there will be a final judgment for all the living and the dead. Those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior will spend eternity with God in heaven. Those who have not accepted Jesus as their Savior will spend eternity separated from God in hell.

Ecclesiastes 3:11; Matthew 25:31-46; Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; John 3:16-21; Ephesians 1:22-23; Philippians 3:20-21; 2 Corinthians 5; Revelation 20:11-15

The Revive Retreat encourages + equips women with resources to

Renew the Mind.

We partner with a local counseling organization - River Counseling in Isanti, MN to provide resources + opportunities to prioritize mental health and if you need non-emergency mental health guidance, in line with Holy Spirit, there is no question too big or too small that Dear Aly, a community blog + podcast, cannot assist you with as well. We have a prayer team that serves at the event and is happy to pray over you and with you.

We also value solid, biblical teaching and most of our workshops weave Christian faith into their messages in a comfortable way. Our hope is to enlighten and inspire you in your faith journey whether you are just hearing about God for the first time or been a long-time follower of Jesus.

Refresh the Body.

Several of our sponsors from the community such as Revive Chiropractic, Willowbridge Center, Shift Physical Therapy,  The Cove Massage Studio, & Jackie Badger Movement & Health also offer resources and services for refreshing your weary mind + body.

We also value peace, quiet, and the stillness of a beautiful environment. By partnering with the Erickson Farmstead, we receive this incredible space both indoors + outdoors for you. We also offer amazing, nourishing catered meals, snacks, and treats (and plenty of goodies to take home!)

Restore the Soul.

As sisters, we created this ministry to write, worship, and offer in-person gatherings to offer women grace + space to grow. We have opened this retreat up to women of all ages because we feel that an inter-generational experience is powerful and moving.

The soul is the very breath of life of God within us - our identity - all that makes us unique and special. At our retreats, we offer time to connect with God, the One that created & formed your soul, & also time to simply awaken some of those hopes, dreams, and gifts (all that makes you unique - your soul!) that may have been buried for a season.

“The Revive Retreat was wonderful - the Holy Spirit’s presence was over all the ladies. You could just feel a sense of peace, rest and relaxation.”
